Dr. Massoud Arvanaghi, the scientist responsible for the manufacturing of FoodMatrix™ nutrients, has examined the technical comparison of food and FoodMatrix™ nutrients with regular isolated nutrients. This is what he has to say about FoodMatrix™:
“It is well accepted that humans are intended to receive the nutrients they need from food sources. Attempts to improve on this basic principle by concentrating the elements in food into single actives (such as ascorbic acid) or into fractions that are considered to be the most valuable, have not yielded the beneficial effects that were expected. Isolated substances cannot compare in value to food or FoodMatrix™ nutrients and this has been well demonstrated through scientific research.”
“The significance of the food matrix efficiency in absorption, delivery and utility is found in the way in which the nutrients are linked to a peptide (protein) carrier or chauffeur. Nutrients are not found on their own in the body and they do not simply wander about looking for an appropriate destination site. Nutrients are targeted by a transportation system whereby protein chauffeurs deliver nutrients to the exact location for utilization within the cell.”
This means that isolated chemical nutrients may be absorbed, but when they enter the body there is no mechanism to target their delivery so the body does not recognize them. Therefore, they are either deposited in the wrong places, which can causes serious problems, or they are flushed right back out of the body.
FoodMatrix™ nutrients, on the other hand, are delivered by the protein chauffeurs to the cells that need the nutrients and, more specifically, to the right sites within the cells. The science that originally described this intricate system used by proteins won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1999.
Dr. Peter Mansfield, a highly respected author and doctor in England expresses it most succinctly:
“There is no doubt in my mind that FoodMatrix™ technology solves our nutritional problems. It provides doctors and other therapists with a harmless, yet potent, mean of healing, alongside restoration of adequate food quality. At last, health seems attainable by us all.”
Andy Szalay, FoodMatrix™ Inventor says:
First, this is a food matrix. It is not a chemical and the body recognizes it as food. In clinical trials, it was concluded that these nutrients are better absorbed and retained than synthetic chemical isolates. Second, these carrier food factors hold the key to transferring the nutrients directly to the cells providing for greater utilization and effectiveness. Synthetic chemicals do not have carriers therefore resulting in poor utilization.
Dr. Massoud says further:
Chromium unlocks the cells and allows the insulin to carry the sugar from the blood into the cells. Chromium is a vital mineral in glucose metabolism.
Because FoodMatrix™ is as close to natural food. You can have a car; however, if you don’t have an engine, the car is never going to run. You can have a car with an engine but if you have no gas you’re going nowhere. You can take a lot of isolated nutrients but if they have no place to go, they are not going to provide benefit. If you have a letter in an envelope but the envelope has no address or zip code, the letter will never reach its destination. In FoodMatrix™, because the nutrients are bound to protein, carbohydrates, enzymes, fiber, etc., they are giving the nutrients directions. The body then knows where the nutrient goes, when to release, when to absorb and when to utilize it. USP isolates just have the car so to speak. FoodMatrix™ nutrients have the car, engine, gas, global positioning and knows exactly where to go.
